A more advanced 8-week course focused on developing realism through pencil, charcoal, pen and ink. We will help students with existing knowledge of art continue to advance in their technical skills by studying and emulating the masters of art. This course requires diligence, focus and the self-motivation to work on projects at home. Cost includes all supplies.
This class requires previous art study. Art 101 or an art class from another teacher is required.
The class is tailored for teens 12-year olds - 18-year olds, but adults are welcome to join us! The classes are 2-hours in duration with a short break in the middle of class, and go throughout the summer. Projects are also available on line if you miss a week. Each week we will focus on a different project and the class culminates with an art show so the students have a way to share their artistic expressions with family and friends.
Classes begin the first week of June ending with an Art Show July 24.
