An 8-week course covering the basics of Crochet. By the end of the class, students will know several crochet techniques, feel comfortable reading patterns and completing projects. We will create 4 projects together from start to finish. These include an Amigurumi animal of the student’s choice, a plant buddy, a granny square bag, and a personal item (headband, gloves, beanie, etc.) Cost is $150 and this includes all supplies.
The class is tailored for 10-year olds - 16-year olds, but older teens and beginner adults are invited to join. The classes are 2-hours in duration with a short break in the middle of class, and go throughout the summer. Projects are also available on line if you miss a week. Each week we will focus on a different project and the class culminates with an art show so the students have a way to share their artistic expressions with family and friends.
